Could you please explain the meal plan and, the type of menu that is available?

Meals in the main restaurant are breakfast buffets and lunch and dinner buffet alternately with a wide selection of different menus changing every day.

Please advice on the method of payment?

You will sign a bill on any purchase. We will debit all your bills to your room.
At the end of your stay you can settle your account at the reception counter.

Please let me know whether you accept traveller’s cheques as payment method?

Yes! We do accept traveler’s cheques.

Can traveller’s cheques be cashed?

We do cash Traveller’s checks maximum U$50 per person and travellers’ cheques are accepted for payments.

What is the best currency to bring is it US Dollars?

US Dollar is preferred all over the Maldives but we do accept all “hard currencies”

Will I need much ready cash?

It is advisable to have some cash at hand when travelling in case you want give tips or buy some small stuff.

Which credit cards do you accept?

VISA, Master Card & American Express

Do I need to bring beach towels?

No, we provide beach towels in all rooms.

Do you have TV in rooms?

No, we do not have TV in rooms. However, we have TV rooms in Village and Blue Lagoon.

Can you please let me know what kind of electrical sockets do you have in the rooms?

We have square pin electrical sockets in all our rooms and the voltage is 220.

Is their a safe in the room or reception?

Yes, we do have in-rooms safes in all rooms.

What about cell phone coverage?

A lot of European mobile phone networks have roaming access. For more information please visit www.dhiraagu.com.mv

Please confirm if the resort offers babysitting facilities?

Sorry we do not have babysitting facilities yet.

Can we rent Tennis rackets on the island or do we have take them with us from home?

You can hire them from the sports centre but if you prefer your own rackets you may bring them.

How many shoes do I need?

You don’t really need to bring a lot of shoes but if you are going to gym then you would need gym shoes otherwise you can do with open slippers.

Do you have mosquito nets in the room?

We do not have mosquito nets in the rooms. It could be advisable to bring insect repellents if you know that you are attractive to the mosquitoes. Mosquito repellents are available in our shop as well.

Do you have email and internet facilities available to the guests?

Yes, we have internet café and WiFi service. Wifi is available in all the Bars, Coffee shops and reception lobbies.

Can we book directly with the Hotel?

Yes, you can email us.

Is it possible to get married on Kuramathi?

Sorry, this is not possible but we do have a package doing renewal of vows.

Can I use my all-inclusive package in all the outlets of the island?

No, your all-inclusive package is valid only in the hotel where you booked your holiday. However, you will be able to utilise all the facilities of the island wherever you go then this will be charged as extras.

Is it possible to upgrade from halfboard to fullboard or to all-inclusive?

Yes, just contact the reception. At the moment all-inclusive is available only in Kuramathi Village and Blue Lagoon.

What type of food do you serve in the restaurant?

We served buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner set menu and buffet alternately with Mediterranean and International influence combine with the local cuisine. All dinner buffets are theme dinners like Maldivian, Italian, Asian buffet.

Do you have a dress code?

We do not have a dress code on the island. However, it is not allowed to come to the reception and restaurant in bikinis.

Do you have any evening entertainment on the island?

Yes we have disco live music and karaoke as evening entertainment.
