One school is located in the middle of the island and the second near the arrival jetty between the Bio Station and Medical Centre. Guests are welcome to use either or both schools to suit their preference or schedule and can therefore benefit from a wider choice of programs and dive sites on any given day. In addition, having the two locations means that we have the opportunity to get to know you better so we can ensure you have a great time diving here!

We mainly use Scubapro dive equipment while our compressors are Bauer and NRC for nitrox. The diving boats are comfortable, spacious, 15 meter, purpose – built, modern, fiberglass diving dhonis with freshwater shower and toilet onboard. They are also fast which allows us to access many great dive sites in neighbouring Ari atoll. All boats are equipped for safety and feature DAN twin cylinder oxygen kits and DAN Guardian first aid kits.

In addition, we are fortunate to have the Kuramathi Medical Centre and Hyperbaric chamber (largest in the Maldives) on the island which is manned by a European diving physician and GP – just for peace of mind.
