Spa FAQ
Where is the spa located on the island?
The spa is located at the top end of the island, past the tennis court, adjacent to the Pool Bar and gymnasium. You could also refer to the map of the island, in which the spa is indicated with the number 4. You may ask Guest Services for assistance or wait at the designated buggy stops which you can take to the spa.
What are the opening hours for the gym and spa?
The gym is open from 06:30hrs to 20:00hrs. The spa opens at 08:00hrs and treatments can be booked starting at 10:00hrs and the last slot for an appointment at 18:45hrs.
Can I smoke within the spa premises?
No, the spa is a smoke-free environment.
May I use my mobile phone at the spa?
The spa environment is a relaxing and tranquil one. For the courtesy of our guests, we kindly request you refrain from using mobile phones and pagers, and when speaking, we ask you to use a gentle voice. We ask all guests to ensure, that their cellular devices are switched off prior of entering the locker rooms and treatment areas.
May I bring my valuables?
While the spa does have some lockers, we request that all your valuables are stored in your in-villa safe at the time of your services, as many treatments require removal of jewellery. The Spa is not responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced items.
Should I book my treatments before we arrive?
We encourage our guests to schedule their appointments in advance to ensure your preferred treatment, time or therapist is available, especially when making multiple appointments. Bookings made on the day of service and walk-in appointments are always welcome, based on availability.

Can we book any treatment in the Spa Pavilion?
The Water Pavilion can be booked for many of our spa treatments and is booked on a two-person or couple basis. Guests can have any treatment and they do not have to have the same as each other. This is a highly popular location and advanced booking is recommended.
Can we use the spa facilities such as steam or sauna, even if we do not have a spa booking?
Guests are welcome to use the steam and sauna facilities free of charge between 06:30hrs and 09:00hrs. Should you wish to use the wet areas beyond the allotted schedule, kindly check the availability at the Spa reception as priority will be given to guests with spa bookings due to limited capacity.
What is your cancellation policy?
We value your business and appreciate your adherence to our cancellation policy. Please respect our scheduling by keeping your appointments if possible, and providing a minimum of 6 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling appointments. Because your services are guaranteed reservations reserved for you, 50% cancellation charges apply for the following conditions:
- Less than 6-hour notification to cancel or reschedule an appointment
- No-show or missed appointments
Please keep in mind that arriving late for a service may require us to shorten the length of the treatment, with full charges applied, so as not to inconvenience other guests. We regret that late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled appointments
How can I ensure a fabulous spa experience?
You should let us your know treatment expectations. By talking to us you will be able to ensure your spa treatment is personalised according to your needs. For more information, please refer the section under “How to Spa” in order to ensure your spa experience is perfect.
How do I choose my treatment?
Our menu offers a wide range of treatments designed with rejuvenation and indulgence in mind. You can visit the spa to speak to our team for a consultation. We can help you decide which treatments will be most beneficial to you.
Is there someone who will help me decide what treatments are best for me?
Yes, you may speak directly to our team at the spa for a consultation.
Should I let someone know about any allergies, ailments, or disabilities?
As part of the booking process, we will ask you to fill out a health questionnaire which should identify any and all medical conditions you have as well as allergies and medication. We want you to have the best and safest time so please let us know anything that will help us with your service.
Can I request specific therapists?
Yes, you may. Whilst we will try and accommodate your request, we are unable to guarantee the availability of any particular therapist. All of our therapists are professionally trained to ensure your comfort at all times.
How early should I arrive at the spa?
You can arrive at the spa 30 minutes before your spa treatment. This gives you enough time to use our wet area, separate for men and women, each featuring a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, icy plunge pool and rainfall shower. Following your treatment, you can enjoy a refreshing herbal tea at the relaxation lounge.
Should men shave before a facial?
Although it is not essential, you will gain more from the treatment and the products used if they are applied directly to the skin without “barriers”. You can always book in for a beard trim with our salon prior to your facial.
What should I wear for my treatment?
You may wear comfortable clothing to the spa. As you will be draped during treatments, suggested dress for massages and most other treatments is simply a robe, which are provided to you upon arrival to the spa. Undergarments may be worn if preferred. For the use of the wet area please bring your swim wear. For Yoga, comfortable and loose clothing is best.
Should I tip the therapist?
If you are fully satisfied with your treatment, you may wish to tip the therapist at your discretion. The spa does not have a tipping policy. Please note that a 10% service charge is added on to your treatment cost.
